Unveiled: Petaling Jaya’s Most Mesmerizing Seafood Delight!

Diving deep into Malaysia’s culinary treasures, one finds Petaling Jaya shimmering with gastronomic tales. My “Restoran Green View Review” aims to spotlight this iconic eatery. Established in 1993, Restoran Green View isn’t just a dining spot—it’s a legacy. Revered for its time-honored recipes and irresistible seafood, this epicurean gem is a must-visit in the heart of PJ.

Pulling up to the restaurant, it was evident that its reputation preceded it. The crowd buzzed with a mix of locals and tourists, all chatting animatedly, probably about the sumptuous meal awaiting them. I’d recommend a reservation lest you find yourself waiting for a table at this immensely popular venue.

It’s an overwhelming feeling, flipping through the menu, as each dish is more tempting than the last. But the unanimous decision was to give their famous Sang Har Noodle a try.

Restoran Green View Review: The Starters

Our meal began with a delightful introduction, the Satay Fish. Priced at just 10 MYR, it’s an explosion of flavors. The perfect balance of fragrant, crispy fish with hints of chili, onion, and sauce made it an ideal appetizer while we eagerly awaited our main course.

The Shark’s Fin Soup came next. While it’s a controversial choice for some due to environmental concerns, the soup was a comforting blend of flavors, with the chicken stock being the standout element. Generous servings of crab meat gave it a sumptuous texture, though the actual shark fin was on the sparser side.

The Suckling Pig that followed was a culinary masterpiece. Every bite of the crispy skin revealed the rich, succulent fat and tender meat beneath. It was a beautiful balance between texture and flavor.

Restoran Green View Review: The Main Stars

The pièce de résistance was, of course, the Sang Har Mee. The prawns, as long as a chopstick, were the epitome of freshness. Their sweet, creamy roe and perfectly cooked meat were enhanced even further by the flavorful noodles which had absorbed all the goodness of the prawns.

The Steamed Soon Hock Fish was the perfect conclusion to our meal. Fresh and tender, every bite of this fish was a taste of the sea

Wrapping up my “Restoran Green View Review”, this establishment offers more than a meal—it serves a voyage across diverse flavors, bridging the land and the sea. Though dishes like the Sang Har Mee and Soon Hock Fish carry a premium price, it’s an investment in unparalleled quality and a lingering culinary experience. Our footsteps will undeniably lead back here, driven not just by the allure of those divine prawns but also by the promise of further culinary revelations from their vast menu.
