Diving into an indulgent hotel breakfast experience, we chose Hilton’s Estate to elevate our morning ritual. The moment we were greeted by their lush botanic wallpaper, we instantly felt the allure of a culinary journey promising something truly special ahead!
The Indulgent Breakfast Experience begins with a Wide Variety of Food
There was such an array of different options – continental favourites like croissants, pastries, sausages and baked beans as well some exciting Asian dishes too. The You tiao or fried dough sticks went so perfectly with sips of creamy soy milk- yum! Not forgetting dim sum delights: dumplings that had been masterfully crafted by hand; spring rolls filled full with flavourful veggies and lastly liu sha buns which made us feel right at home thanks to its black skin outer layer.
The radish cake is a typical “Do not judge the book by its cover”. It was amazing with its rich assortment of fresh ingredients – you could actually see and taste the strips of radishes, Chinese sausage, dried shrimps and mushrooms! It had an incredible flavor. But the real highlight for me were these prawn noodles I got in a bowl: it may not have been made from extreme amounts of shrimp heads but still tasted great; creamy broth full up with bak tuh teh flavors that ended on a pleasing note thanks to a pinch or two of pepperiness.
Other to eat items include Nasi Lemak and Chicken Congee. The Nasi is fragrant and is served with condiments such as cucumber, anchovies and peanuts – all made even tastier by that sambal! The Chicken congee is also a must eat item. I like topping mine off generously with braised peanutss, floss meat and salted egg – it’s just so satisfying and reminiscent of my travels in Taiwan.
Conclusion
Concluding our Hilton’s Estate breakfast journey, we realized that a truly indulgent hotel breakfast experience doesn’t just fill the stomach but also delights the senses. From the visually appealing botanic wallpaper ambiance to the masterfully crafted dishes that reminded us of distant travels, Hilton’s Estate undoubtedly serves a breakfast that’s both nostalgic and opulent
